Company Overview:
At 99 Talent, we have partnered with a growing Project Management principal delivery contractor. We are recruiting a Project Manager to join the team on an interim basis and play a lead role in the project delivery for a range of clients.
Job Description:
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing key stakeholders including the client throughout the delivery of live construction projects. You will work closely with project team, sub-contractors, and clients to ensure that projects are delivered to the highest standards. Your role will involve project management, commercial management, health and safety, and ensuring the best result for your team and the client. Experience managing multiple projects at once in critical environments is desired.
Key Responsibilities:
• Working closely with the client and key stakeholders to deliver projects safely and to tight deadlines.
• Ability to adapt in fast paced environments.
• Develop and win new projects.
• Work with the project management team to ensure all projects are running smoothly.
• Support with any M&E, construction queries and technical issues.
• Liaise with clients to provide progress updates and resolve any concerns.
• Support and mentor junior project managers and quantity surveyors.
• Document and track results, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and client specifications.
Key Requirements:
• Proven experience delivering mechanical, electrical, and construction projects. (minimum of 3 years)
• Strong understanding of Facilities Management and live environments.
• Experience with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing)
• Knowledge of HVAC, power distribution, backup power systems, and fire safety systems.
• Ability to manage internal staff and Site Managers on site.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Relevant qualifications (Mechanical or Electrical degree) preferred.
• Experience delivering large scale projects is a plus. (£25,000 - £1,000,000)
